Viviana Vlas

Viviana Vlas is a violinist and graduate of the National University of Music Bucharest, where she completed both her bachelor's and master's degrees in "Instrumental and Vocal Interpretive Stylistics." A winner of several important national and international competitions, she has built her career through intense activity on stages in Romania and abroad.
 
She performs in the first violin section of the National Radio Orchestra and collaborates with the George Enescu Philharmonic and Royal Camerata, while also having the privilege of working alongside internationally renowned conductors and soloists. She has also been a permanent or regular presence in the Romanian Youth Orchestra, the Virtuozii Orchestra in Bucharest (as second violin section leader), the Romanian Foundation for Excellence in Music, and the Romanian Sinfonietta Orchestra,The Radio Chamber Orchestra, the Bucharest Metropolitan Orchestra, the New Hope Orchestra, and the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra.
Her artistic activity is complemented by numerous international tours, which have taken her to renowned stages alongside musicians such as Maxim Vengerov, Liviu Prunaru, Giuliano Carmignola, Mihaela Martin, Silvia Marcovici, Christian Badea, Horia Andreescu, Cristian Mandeal, Marin Cazacu, Alexandru Tomescu, Remus Azoiței, Bogdan Zvorișteanu, David Crescenzi, Vlad Stănculeasa, Tiberiu Soare, Viniciu Moroianu, and many others, experiences that have consolidated her versatility and artistic refinement.
Alongside her concert career, she dedicates herself to younger musicians, guiding them on their musical journey and opening their horizons to the beauty of sound art.
 
Since 2014, she has been the first violinist of the Poétique Quartet, an ensemble in which she expresses her passion for chamber music and the joy of sharing the emotion of music with sensitivity and refinement. The experience she has gained, combined with her perseverance and artistic creativity, defines her musical personality and gives her a distinctive presence on stage, consolidating her role as leader of the quartet and transforming music into an authentic dialogue with the audience.
