Luiza Antonela Iorga

Luiza Iorga graduated from the National University of Music Bucharest in 2006, studying under Professor Valeriu Pitulac in the Musical Performance – Viola department. Winner of numerous national and international competitions, she has consolidated her career through extensive concert activity and chamber recitals throughout the country, alongside prestigious musicians from Romania and abroad.
 
Throughout her career, she has collaborated regularly with the George Enescu Philharmonic and the George Enescu International Festival, having the opportunity to work alongside world-renowned artists such as Christian Zacharias, Cristian Măcelaru, Liviu Prunaru, Mihaela Martin, Julian Rachlin, and Vasily Petrenko.
 
She is currently a doctoral student and associate professor at the Viola Department of the National University of Music in Bucharest, contributing to the training of the younger generation of musicians. Through her teaching experience combined with her artistic activity, she transmits to aspiring musicians not only technical rigor, but also sensitivity and passion for music, her relationship with the students she mentors defining the image of a dedicated artist and an authentic mentor. She is also a member of the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, where she performs as a violist.
 
Since 2015, she has been a member of the Poétique Quartet, with whom she has given numerous recitals and concerts, bringing expressive performances to audiences. Her refined sound, elegant phrasing, and artistic perseverance define her in such a way that each appearance on stage is a testament to her passion and dedication to music.
