Alexandra Adetu

Alexandra Adetu graduated from the National University of Music Bucharest, where she completed both her bachelor's and master's degrees. She is currently a member of the Bucharest National Opera Orchestra, where she performs in the second violin section.
 
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with prestigious ensembles in Romania and abroad, including the George Enescu Philharmonic, the Teatro alla Scala Academy Orchestra in Milan, the Romanian Youth Orchestra, the Radio Chamber Orchestra, the Royal Camerata, the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, the Bucharest Metropolitan Orchestra, and the Symphactory Orchestra.
With these ensembles, she has performed on important stages in Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Norway, Israel, Dubai, Kuwait, China, and the United States, having the opportunity to perform alongside great personalities of the international music scene, such as Cristian Măcelaru, John Axelrod, Cristian Mandeal, Christian Badea, Lang Lang, Herbie Hancock, Mihaela Martin, Andrei Ioniță, Wynton Marsalis, Valentina Nafornița, and Bryn Terfel.
These experiences have not only highlighted her professionalism and artistic versatility, but have also strengthened her collaborative spirit and adaptability, qualities that define her both on stage and in her interpersonal relationships. 
 
Since 2014, she has been a member of the Poétique Quartet, a chamber ensemble with which she has developed her interpretative sensitivity and passion for chamber music, building a profound artistic dialogue with the audience. Through her artistic activity, she brings the universal beauty of music and the energy of a passionate and elegant interpretation, while also providing balance, depth, and cohesion, thus shaping the quartet's sound identity together with her colleagues.
