Poétique Quartet - Music that speaks to the heart

The Poétique Quartet is more than a chamber ensemble - it is a language of the soul, a dialogue between four instrumentalists with a deep artistic sensibility and perfect technique, breathing together elegance, emotion and refinement.

Poétique Quartet was founded 11 years ago, when we were students at the National University of Music Bucharest. Over the years we have given numerous auditions, recitals and concerts. Each appearance is conceived as a journey: sometimes dreamy, sometimes dramatic but always poetic. The quartet's repertoire is a musical journey between classical rigor and the freedom of contemporary expression. The choice of works is never random - each piece is a window into subtle emotions and diverse sound worlds. The works for this type of chamber ensemble have been joined by famous tangos, waltzes, opera arias, pieces by well-known artists, carols and arrangements for the winter holidays, so that audiences can more easily approach classical music beyond the concert halls.

We are current members of the most emblematic orchestras in Bucharest: The George Enescu Philharmonic, the National Radio Orchestra, the National Opera and the Comic Opera for Children, but at the same time we continue to enjoy the opportunity to make music together.
