Alexandra Pascaru

Alexandra Pascaru is a cellist and graduate of the National University of Music Bucharest, where she studied under Professor Răzvan Suma and then pursued her master's degree under the guidance of Professor Marin Cazacu.
 
Since her student years, she has collaborated with important orchestras in Romania, such as the Bucharest National Opera, the George Enescu Philharmonic, the Royal Camerata, the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, the Pitești Philharmonic, and the Craiova Philharmonic. Her artistic activity also includes international collaborations with the Bayerische Philharmonie and Kammerorchester der Bayerische Philharmonie (Germany), the Youth Symphony Orchestra Bremen, as well as the Orchestra dell'Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, giving her the opportunity to perform alongside world-renowned artists.
 
Since 2014, she has been the cellist of Poétique Quartet, a chamber ensemble with which she has performed numerous recitals and concerts. She is also a member of the Comic Opera for Children Orchestra and was a member of the Violoncelissimo ensemble, created by cellist Marin Cazacu, with which she has performed in major concerts.
 
In addition to her orchestral and chamber music activities, Alexandra has participated in masterclasses with prestigious teachers in Europe and has been involved in cultural projects, both as a performer and in the organization of landmark events such as the George Enescu International Competition and Festival.
 
Through her sensitive interpretations and experience gained on national and international stages, Alexandra stands out for her artistic maturity, expressive depth, a stage presence that inspires balance and inner strength.
